One of the most important features of the design is the cutaway and neck joint.  Our cutaway is deeper than most, allowing one to play higher on the fingerboard more easily and accurately. The heel is redesigned to be positioned low on the neck, and the shape provides the hand more space to play. To accomplish this design advantage, Tweed Guitars has developed a unique connection between the body and the neck. This neck joint is similar to a durable dove tail joint, but the exact details will remain a trade secret. One thing that is not a secret is that this cutaway makes our guitars some of the easiest to play .
